About Ann

Mission Statement

My goal as a therapist and empathetic human is, through informed touch and/or intuitive dialoguing, to facilitate each person’s expanding awareness of their own unique Body Wisdom, language, perception, and experience. By educating my clients about how to connect with and fully appreciate their body and all the history, information, wisdom and experience it contains I hope to foster:

• More effective self-care and advocacy in health care
• Individual self-appreciation, knowledge, empowerment
• The understanding that everything is connected in our bodies, and in the world at large and that we each are a small but important part of a greater collective and all the support that implies.

I practice in a peaceful, private, dedicated treatment space in my antique home which is accessed through an ever changing garden space.

I earned my Massage Therapy certification through a 650 hr. program at Cape Cod Community College, Since discovering John F. Barnes Myofascial Release in 2009, I have achieved Expert MFR therapist level by taking and repeating numerous JFBMFR classes and being treated and helping in the clinic “Therapy On The Rocks” in Sedona, AZ. I also am a paid Instructor at Barnes Seminars and lead a local study group for other Barnes-trained MFR practitioners.

Although MFR is my modality of choice, I have also expanded my practice with classes in Tom Meyers Anatomy Trains, Reiki, Reflexology, Yoga, Shamanism, and a 5 day human cadaver dissection class with the amazing Gil Hedley, PhD.

I spend my leisure time gardening, enjoying nature, playing tennis, supporting live music, learning, and meditating.
